Three Heroics Down...

Last night was a good night. Ahtabat, Kroffjr, Delynth, Juliettah, and Noxxic took on three heroics, and in record time for our crew I might add.

Kroffjr has instituted a new rule that we /roll and pick a dungeon we want to hit up. The highest roller wins and the group parades to the dungeon to ransack it's loot and move on. Typically, we hit up the daily first though. Yesterday's daily....

Stratholme! OMG shocker! It hasn't been Strat, in what, 24 hours?

Okay, I can't complain, I like Strat. It's usually quick and I want to bust that place down til we get the achievement and the extra boss.

Last night's strategy...hump those zombies like mad and bust our way through in less than 25 minutes.

Were we successful? No. BUT we came awfully darn close. A devious plan to kill me so he could tank *cough* Delynth *cough cough* set us back a couple of minutes and ultimately cost us the goal. We hit the new bosses' spot roughly one minute and sixteen seconds after the time ran out.

It is very possible for our merry little group to hit up this boss now. After last night's awesome performance, I'm sure of it.

In any case, daily done. Time for the rolls to begin! And the first winner is....Me! Yay me! My pick? Heroic: Utgarde Keep

What? Utgarde Keep? Why in the world do I want to go to Utgarde Keep? Why my friends? I'll tell you why. Because of all my research, the best freakin belt for me pre-25 man's is none other than the same belt that my handsome undead husband has...Sharp-Barbed Leather Belt. And...it dropped! We basically walked through the dungeon, got my belt, and then Noxxic, the punk that he is...offed two of us as we're leaving. Don't worry...revenge will follow...and soon.

Time to roll again! Who wins? Kroffjr. His pick? Gundrak. Again, suprise, surprise. What we're after? Gored Hide Legguards. I swear I don't think these things will ever drop. However, he got smart last night and we did the dungeon with the least amount of trash pulls possible and flew through there in about half an hour.

Three heroics in one day. Not bad, not bad at all.

As an aside, I scored myself three nice upgrades yesterday. The priciest by far was my new cloak: Durbale Nerubhide Cape. But this baby was worth it. There are two possible upgrades before the 25 man raids for me. One comes from emblems of valor...so that's technically not an upgrade outside of 25 mans, and one comes from Obsidian Sanctum. I'm not sure when that's going to get tackled again, so yay for my new cloak!

Then of course, I got my waist. Sirgona popped a nice +25 stam gem in them and they are a beaut.

Last upgrade of the night was my new neck: Chained Military Gorget. I finally went with this one. My toss up choice was Titanium Earthguard Chain. I finally went with the emblem purchase because after the nerf bat armor reduction, the crafted neck piece will not hold as much value.

With the three upgrades I received last night, my new stats (or the ones I'm proud of) are as follows:

27k unbuffed life now :-) 30k here I come!
26k unbuffed armor
146 hit
4006 ap in bear

Biggest upgrades for Ahtabat via heroic dungeons:
Essence of Gossamer - Heroic Azjol-Nerub - Delynth wants this too, so it's a roll-off fight to the death when it drops
Mask of the Watcher - Heroic: Oculus - we haven't attempted this one yet, so it will be interesting
Keystone Great-Ring - Heroic: Drak'tharon Keep - Mirroden has this and he's not even a tank! Ahhhhh!

I'm hoping to get my shoulders crafted tonight: Trollwoven Spaulders. Those will be the best shoulders I can get before the 25 mans. Then I have to decide what legs and boots I want. After that and the dungeon romping to acquire said items, I'll be set. Hopefully pushing, if not over 30k unbuffed hp and 30k armor (or a lot more).
